Membership Committee to hold Adventure Day for Boys Who Left Scouting

Many of us know that many Scouts decide to leave Scouting for a variety of reasons.  The Patriots' Path membership committee has been following a plan to welcome those Scouts back into their local troops.

Boys who left Boy Scouting early will be invited to Adventure Day at MASR Camp Somers in Stanhope, New Jersey.  The event is targeted to males ages 11- 17.  Adventure day will take place on Sunday, May 6th from 1-4 pm at Camp Somers located at 750 Waterloo Rd., Stanhope, New Jersey.

Activities will include fishing, shooting sports, rock climbing, geocaching, nature hikes, S’mores making, and more.   The event is sponsored by the membership committee of Patriots’ Path Council.

The cost per boy is $5.  Participants are encouraged to bring a friend and register by May 1.

To register, please visit http://ppbsa.doubleknot.com/event/2357413. Registration is required and will close on May 1.
